Brenmar was commissioned as principal contractor to create an IT event room and catering store, as part of an £80,000 project for a leading broadcaster in London.

The brief was to work in an occupied area of a building causing minimal disruption – especially noise. It was also necessary to install new fan coil units without impairing existing chilled water cooling services, using pipe freezing/hot tap methodology.

Brenmar delivered a wide range of services. Redundant partitions, build fabrics, and mechanical and electrical services were stripped out. We supplied and installed new partitions for the event room, created a new break out door opening with new lintel to the catering store, and fitted the specialist acoustic finish to the walls.

We made good and refreshed all floor and wall finishes, dealt with the installation of resilient uninterruptable power supplies, AV system power, lighting, modifications to access control systems and removed redundant fan coil units. These were replaced with new units, complete with all services required.

The works were executed with zero unplanned impact to the client. The IT event room and catering store were delivered on time, and to budget.
